After 4 years in build by McConaghy boats in Zhuhai China, the fuel efficient 42.5 m Trimaran Adastra has been lanched into the Pearl River. Exterior detailing and visualisation by Orion Shuttleworth Design Ltd. Adastra Yacht Trimaran 1. Described by Boat International as "one of the world's most amazing super yachts, that could spell the future for efficient long range cruising", the striking 42.5m Trimaran Adastra has recently been launched in China for Hong Kong clients Anto and Elaine Marden. "Adastra" is the result of more than five years of design and discussion with the owners, to build a yacht that meets the needs of a very experienced ocean voyaging couple and their family, and to provide the level of comfort and style that would be expected in a yacht of this class and size. No effort has been spared in the challenge to produce a beautiful yacht that will have low fuel consumption and yet provide excellent sea keeping qualities and luxurious accommodation. "Adastra" takes the power trimaran concept further than has ever been attempted before, previous vessels like "Earthrace" and "Cable and Wireless" were stripped out record breaking machines. The challenge of turning this concept into a viable luxury yacht has led us to further research and to develop new thinking on stability and comfort at sea for this type of craft. Extensive tank testing and radio controlled model tests in waves have been carried out to analyse stability and performance. Adastra Yacht Trimaran 1. Outrigger height has been optimised for ease of motion at sea, and a new outrigger shape has been developed to increase stability in waves. We have undertaken a state of the art structural analysis of all the major components in the yacht in order to achieve the light weight required for very low fuel consumption. All this has resulted in the exceptional vessel that has recently been launched in China. Adastra's 16 metre beam creates a spacious saloon area on the main deck which offers superb views through a panoramic window and accommodates a lounge area, dining table and navigation station. A forward facing door through the saloon window gives easy access to a large sunbed on the foredeck. The aft deck has a sofa and bar area to port and a dining area to starboard, further aft of this there is space for a 4.9 metre tender and directly below is a garage which can store a 3.1 metre tender. The garage door has been designed to fold out and create a large dive platform. Extra space has been created below deck by slightly flaring the central hull just above the waterline. This area has been split into two sections with a full-width master cabin located aft with access from the deck saloon, and two further guest cabins, accommodation for the crew, and the galley located forward of the engine compartment. Adastra offers comfortable accommodation for nine guests and up to six crew members. The main helm station, which has seating for two, is positioned in a raised pilot house situated between the aft deck and the saloon area and forms part of the cross beam structure. The Disney Fantasy is a cruise ship of the American cruise company Disney Cruise Line, part of The Walt Disney Company. The Disney Fantasy is the fourth ship in the expanding cruise line, and was Christened on March 1, 2012. Disney Fantasy's captain is Tom Forberg. In February 2007, Disney Cruise Line announced that it had commissioned two new ships for its fleet. The first steel-cut, for scrollwork on the ship's hull, took place in March 2009 at the Meyer Werft shipyards in Papenburg, Germany. Later that month, the two ships were named, with the Disney Fantasy set to enter service on March 31, 2012, a little over a year after its sister vessel, the Disney Dream. The ship's keel was laid on February 11, 2011. Disney Cruise Line president, Karl Holz, along with Minnie Mouse, officially placed a magic coin beneath the ship's hull. The coin is identical to that which was placed beneath the Disney Dream, however featured the hull number S688, and the date of the keel laying. On September 13, 2011, on the Official Disney Cruise Line Facebook Page, It was announced that the Stern Character on the Disney Fantasy will be Dumbo, The Flying Elephant. On December 9, 2011, Meyer Werft found several water lines open on the cruise ship. 48 cabins were damaged at a cost of approximately one million euros. Disney Fantasy was floated out of the building dock on January 8, 2012, at Meyer Werft. Disney Fantasy was delivered to Disney Cruise Line on February 9, 2012, In Bremerhaven, Germany. The Disney Fantasy departed Bremerhaven on February 16, 2012. Disney Fantasy arrived in the United States of America for the first time, calling on New York, on February 28, 2012. Disney Fantasy was christened on March 1, 2012 in New York City. The godmother of the ship is Mariah Carey. The christening was held on the ship featuring one time performances in the Walt Disney Theatre. Neil Patrick Harris hosted the Christening ceremony. Comedian Jerry Seinfeld performed during the show. Nick Cannon, husband of Mariah Carey, assisted Minnie Mouse with the breaking of the champagne bottle on the ship. On March 6, 2012, Disney Fantasy arrived in her homeport of Port Canaveral, Florida. Until her Maiden Voyage on March 31st, she will be sailing on Preview Cruises for exclusive guests only. Disney Fantasy, structurally, is almost identical to Disney Dream, with gross registered tonnage of 130,000 GRT, a length of 340 metres (1,120 ft) and a width of 37 metres (121 ft). Disney Fantasy will have 1,250 staterooms. Additional features, such as on-board services and amenities, are mostly similar to those on Disney Dream, with some slight tweaks of course. Disney Fantasy also has the popular AquaDuck Water Coaster, the first Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at sea that will turn into the Pirates League on Mickey's Pirates IN the Caribbean Party Nights. The Nightclubs District is called Europa and features a re-imagined and expanded Skyline Club, The Tube, Le Plazza, O'Gills Pub and Ooh La La, an adults only lounge. Disney Fantasy is based at Disney Cruise Line's terminal at Port Canaveral, Florida. The ship will embark on alternating Eastern and Western 7 night Caribbean cruises, and will call on Disney's private island Castaway Cay.

Grand Princess (One), widescreen, wallpaper, cruise, ship, passenger, luxury, Carnival plc, Princess Cruises, Fincantieri, ocean, voyage, photo, picture.
Grand Princess is a Grand-class cruise ship owned by Princess Cruises. Built in 1998 by Fincantieri Cantieri Navali Italiani in Monfalcone (Hull Number 5956), Italy, at a cost of approximately US $450 million, she was the largest and most expensive passenger ship ever built at the time. Grand Princess primarily operates in Europe during the summer to early Autumn, and then operates in the Caribbean during winter to late spring. She is the flagship in the Princess Cruises fleet. Grand Princess was the first of the Grand-class ships, and has a different decor scheme to her sister ships, using darker woods, and the interior decor is more similar to the smaller Sun-class ships. The cabin layout is also marginally different in the arrangement of the bathroom and the walk-in wardrobe. At a recent refit, the Movies under the Stars feature was added. She is the sister ship of the Star Princess and the Golden Princess. The Grand Princess was the setting for a task in the second series of the UK version of the reality TV show The Apprentice. The Grand Princess has two large theaters and a large central performance lounge. The inaugural season featured performances by artists including Lorna Luft, Al Martino, Bob Anderson, Red Buttons, Rita Moreno and showbands including Dominic Halpin with his swing band and Canadian band the Mud Sharks. In May 2011, Grand Princess completed the most extensive drydock in Princess Cruises history, a refit that involved the removal of the iconic "Skywalkers" lounge on the ships stern. Passengers now find a completely new Piazza atrium, several new eateries – including Alfredo's Pizzeria and the Crown Grill – and the line's first specialty tea lounge called Leaves. Also included in the renovation were seven new window suites; remodeled casino, boutiques and art gallery; enhancements to the Horizon Court, Lotus Spa, and wedding chapel; and the addition of Crooner's Martini Lounge. The new nightclub, The One5, replaced Skywalkers.

One. Pelorus, ship, luxury, yacht, voyage, sea, David Geffen, Lürssen, photo, picture, image, wallpaper, boat, port.
Pelorus (from the Greek word “pelorios”, meaning “vast”) is the world's nineteenth largest luxury yacht at 115 metres (377 ft) in length, currently owned by David Geffen. Commissioned by a Saudi Arabian businessman, she was built at the Lürssen yard in Bremen, Germany to the design of Tim Heywood. Launched in 2003, she was sold to Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich in 2004. Abramovich had it refitted to his own requirements by Blohm & Voss. This included the addition of a second helicopter pad forward, four new zero-speed stabilizers and modifications to the exhaust, mast and stern. Pelorus is powered by two 5,500-hp Wärtsilä 12v 26 engines, which will do a maximum 19 knots, but often cruises between 12 to 14 knots. Details about the interiors are scant, as Abramovich was protective of his family's privacy and highly security conscious. The yacht has a number of tenders on board and a garage full of 'toys', including jet skis. Under Abramovichs ownership, the yatch had a full time crew of up to 46, which was added to by a large security contingent that came and left with his family. Pelorus would cruise the Western Mediterranean during the summers, and commonly ventures down through the Suez for the winters. In 2005 Abramovich lent Pelorus to Frank Lampard and John Terry for two weeks as a bonus for being the two best players at his English football club Chelsea F.C. the previous season. After John Terry married his fiancee Toni Poole at Blenheim Palace on 15 June 2007, they had a two-week honeymoon on Pelorus. Handed over to Irina Abramovich in 2009 as part of her divorce settlement, she sold it via broker Merle Wood to David Geffen in 2011 for $300 million. Mediterranean hotspot Mallorca is the place to be seen at the moment if you’re a mogul with a flashy megayacht. Hollywood tycoon David Geffen recently arrived in his new $300 million toy, the 376-ft. Pelorus (above), purchased from a certain Roman Abramovich a couple months back. Geffen now owns two megayachts ranking within the top 20 largest yachts in the world, having bought out Larry Ellison’s share in the 453-ft. Rising Sun in 2010. The Pelorus boasts two helicopter pads, a swimming pool, a spa pool, and an owner’s suite with 180-degree panoramic views and a private deck. Pretty impressive – but as it happens Geffen was overshadowed by another billionaire, Russian businessman Andrey Melnichenko, who arrived in Mallorca aboard his stunning Philippe Starck-designed megayacht, ‘A’. At 390 feet it’s bigger than the Pelorus, ranking as the 15th largest yacht in the world. Powering in from Ibiza the ‘A’ immediately eclipsed Geffen’s vessel thanks to its striking design, no easy feat. Inside the ‘A’ is no less impressive. The interior features $40,000 bath faucets, $60,000 stair banisters, and an all-white, 2,583-sq.-ft. master suite wrapped in bulletproof glass accessed by a silver-plated staircase with a fingerprint scanner at the door. James Spotting is the official blog of JamesList.com, the world's smartest luxury marketplace with headquarters in Stockholm, Sweden, offices in Marbella, Spain and representation in London, Frankfurt, Singapore and Miami. JamesList features more than 65,000 private jets, yachts, luxury cars, properties and exclusive watches for sale and rent from a trusted network of dealers around the world. Pelorus (from the Greek word ¨pelorios¨, meaning ¨vast¨) is the world's sixteenth largest luxury yacht at 377 feet 3 inches (115 metres) in length. It was built at the Lürssen yard in Bremen, Germany to the design of Tim Heywood and was launched in 2003. It was briefly owned by a Saudi businessman who sold it to Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich the following year. Abramovich had it refitted to his own requirements by Blohm & Voss. This included the addition of a second helicopter pad forward, four new zero-speed stabilizers and modifications to the exhaust, mast and stern. Abramovich also owned Ecstasea, and gave away Le Grand Bleu to friend Eugene Shvidler. In 2011 he sold Pelorus to David Geffen, for approx. USD 300 million. Pelorus is powered by two 5,500-hp Wärtsilä 12v 26 engines, which will do a maximum 19 knots but often cruises between 12 to 14 knots. Details about the interiors are scant, as Abramovich is protective of his family's privacy and highly security conscious. The yacht has a number of tenders on board and a garage full of 'toys', including jet skis and wave runners. A full time crew of up to 46 people lives aboard all year long, and a large security contingent comes and leaves with the family. Pelorus will often be found cruising around the Western Mediterranean during the summers and commonly ventures down through the Suez for the winters.

Lady Moura Superyacht Wallpaper 1

Lady Moura (Wallpaper 1)
One. Lady Moura, ship, luxury, Superyacht, voyage, sea, Nasser Al-Rashid, photo, picture, image, wallpaper.
Lady Moura is a private superyacht. It was the 9th largest private yacht when it was launched in 1990, but has moved down the list in 2011 to number 24. It is owned by Saudi Arabian businessman, Nasser Al-Rashid. Both the hull and the superstructure are made of steel. The propulsion plant consists of two KHD-MWM diesel engines, each with a power of 5050 kW (over 6700 bhp), and controllable pitch propellers producing a speed of over 20 knots. A crafty hydraulically-operated system of shell ports, doors, flaps, roofs, bath platforms, gangways and cranes provide the most possible ease of operation and comfort. Even the boats, anchors, liferafts and navigation lanterns are hidden behind covers and do not disturb the aesthetics of the yacht. Both the name and the escutcheon that can be seen at port, starboard and at Stern are carved in 24 carat gold. Characteristics: Length overall: 105.8 m (344 ft). Breadth: 18.5 m. Draught: 5.5 m. Speed: 20 kn. Yacht name: Lady Moura. Launch: 1990\ last refitted in 2007. Owner: Nasser Al-Rashid (ex-wife owns Phocea). Builder: Blohm + Voss, Germany. Naval architect: Luigi Sturchio - Diana Yacht Design. Hull: Steel. Engines: 2 x 6,868 hp Deutz-MWM. Tender: On board helicopter. 10th largest "private yacht" in 2005. To say that Lady Moura is impressive is like saying Claude Monet was a good painter. She towers over every other yacht in Monaco’s Port Hercule, where you’ll typically find her in the summer, and is kept in pristine condition. She’s been accompanied over the years by a variety of yachts that most people would happily consider their primary vessels, including an 80-foot Mangusta and a 48-foot San Juan. Unlike other owners who buy new yachts every few years (yep, it still happens in this stratospheric end of the yacht world), Lady Moura’s owner, Nasser al-Rashid, has been enjoying her for the past 16 years. He’s a graduate of the University of Texas, has contributed to President Clinton’s library and President Bush’s re-election campaign, and served as chief engineer to the Saudi royals. The yachting community has always been, like a kicked beehive, buzzing with rumours. During the first Monaco Yacht Show in 1991, the biggest rumour was about a yacht that was not present at the show, not even present in the Principality: the Lady Moura. Her builders, the German, Hamburg based yard of Blohm+Voss had delivered her in 1990 but the yacht was still shrouded in secrecy and the wildest rumours we’re told about her: her length, her tonnage, her ownership, the size of her crew, her building cost. The yard, presumably bound by contracts, did not publish much information to put an end to the wild rumours about their project n° 954 : Blohm+Voss limited themselves to an advertisement in the different magazines with a photo of the Lady Moura during sea trials and a caption of her LOA of 105 meters. That was it. Over the years some more details have become public: the LOA of the yacht is 105 meters, she’s 18,5 meters wide, with a draught of 5,5 meters. Her propulsion exists of two 6868HP Deutz-MWM TBD510BV12 diesels giving her a speed of more than 20 knots. Naval architecture for the yacht was done in house by Blohm+Voss and her interior was created by none other than the Italian Luigi Sturchio whose also famous for his work on Nabila, Chamar, Airwaves, to name a few. The giant yacht has seven decks. Tenders, anchors and such are all stored behind hydraulic doors so that the yacht has a clean hull. About the lay-out: not much is known and what is known is based on quay-side information. The top deck has an indoor swimming pool with a roof that slides open. The deck below the bridge deck supposedly is dedicated to the owner: aft of the central staircase a massive owner suite with a private aft balcony and fore of the main staircase are the different apartments for the owner’s family. Unlike most yachts, Lady Moura is used almost the year round: she serves as permanent residence for the owner and his family. The yacht is usually found in Monaco or Palma and makes trips around the northern parts of the Mediterranean. The only times she has left the Med in recent years is to make trips to her builders in Germany. Nothing is known about her interior apart from the fact that it is opulent. Many reports say that she has a 59 ft dining table onboard, created by Viscount Linley, but like with all other things regarding Lady Moura, this has never been confirmed. Apart from the usual tenders, the yacht has two chase boats: the Mangusta 92 Little Saf and there’s also the 100 ft DeBirs Little Sarah. If you don’t want to use a tender or chase boat to go onshore; no problem: there’s still the helicopter: a Sikorsky S-76B. The helicopter is permanently onboard. A special feature that we do know about since it can be seen when the yacht is at anchor is her beach club. Along the waterline she has a beach club that stretches from port to starboard with large hydraulic platforms that fold down from her hull. It is said that she also deploys shark nets to provide safe swimming spots. Today we are more than proud to present to you this magnificent series of officialLady Moura photographs, especially commissioned by her owners for the 20th birthday of their yacht and made by the well known yacht photographer Marc Paris.

Carnival Dream is a Dream class cruise ship. At 130,000 tons, she is the biggest the line has ever built. Her sister ships, Carnival Magic is the latest in the Carnival Cruise Lines (NYSE) ships, being delivered on April 27, 2011. While Carnival Breeze is expected out in June 2012. The ship and her sisters, Carnival Magic are expected to have the widest variety of activity, dining, and entertainment options of the entire fleet. Carnival Dream and her sisters are currently the biggest ships ever built in Italy, by Fincantieri. The ship has an array of cabins to choose from. The cabins ranges from interior staterooms to suites. In addition, the ship introduced newer forms of cabins for Carnival Cruise Lines. One new type of cabin is a deluxe ocean view stateroom. The deluxe ocean view stateroom has two separate washroom facilities. Another new cabin for the cruise line is cove balcony stateroom. The cove balcony stateroom has a partially enclosed veranda. The ship features special spa staterooms that are currently available on Carnival Splendor. Carnival Dream is the first Carnival ship to feature a water park with multiple slides as a newbuild. The ship uses a larger variation of the water park that was recently added to the Fantasy class ships. The ship features a 2-deck miniature golf course. The ship also features a wide outdoor promenade deck that includes an outdoor cafe and a whirlpool jacuzzi in four places along the outside edge of the deck. While the largest cruise ship operated by Carnival Cruise Lines, the ship will not be the largest in the world, being surpassed by Royal Caribbean International's Oasis & Freedom Class, as well as Cunard Line's RMS Queen Mary 2; and Norwegian Cruise Line's Norwegian Epic. By comparison, Carnival Dream is roughly equal to Royal Caribbean International's voyager-class. However, Dream is 17 feet shorter.Carnival Dream is an all new class of ships for Carnival Cruise Lines. She features facilities similarly designed and used on the previous generations of Carnival ships while presenting a few new features. Significant alterations have been made to the public access areas of the ship like Deck 5, which has an exterior promenade that runs the entire perimeter of the ship.

MS Voyager of the Seas, is a Voyager-class cruise ship, completed in 1999, for Royal Caribbean International. She is the namesake of Voyager-class ships. It can handle up to 3114 guests, and, along with its sisters in the Voyager class, is one of the largest passenger ships in the world; currently, only the Cunard Line Queen Mary 2, Norwegian Epic and the Royal Caribbean International Freedom Class and Oasis Class are larger. Constructed at Aker Finnyards in Turku, Finland, the ship measures 137,276 gross tons on a 64,000 ton displacement. It is 1,020 ft. long overall, has a waterline beam of 127 ft. and a maximum width of 156 ft (47.55 m). Voyager of the Seas is commonly referred to as a 'Floating hotel' due to the vast range of facilities that it offers, along with some world firsts for cruise ships when the ship was launched. Voyager of the Seas (Wallpaper 1). Wallpaper gallery of Voyager of the Seas cruise ship - 1. Voyager of the Seas cruise ship photos and pictures wallpaper collection - 1. Cruise ship voyage review of Voyager of the Seas - 1. Voyager features the world's first rock climbing wall (mounted on the funnel) and ice-skating rink at sea. During Voyager's first weeks at sea, there were doubts on how effective the ice rink would be due to the ice occasionally cracking in places due to the instability of the ship and hot ventilation pipes on the deck below, although these merely turned out to be teething troubles and today, the ice is used throughout the cruise as a public ice-skating venue and for the evening ice show. Another innovative feature of Voyager of the Seas and another world first is the Royal Promenade which is a marble floored street stretching just over 3/4 the length of the ship and features shops and light dining venues. This area is the heart of the ship for evening activity , along with the three story high 'La Scala' theatre in which some of the latest production technology is used to produce Broadway standard production shows at night. Almost all outward facing cabins on Voyager feature balconies as well as en-suite bathrooms and an innovative interactive television service. Voyager of the Seas (Wallpaper 1). MS Mariner of the Seas is one of five Voyager-class cruise ships from Royal Caribbean International; it is one of the largest in its fleet and among the largest passenger ships in the world. It was constructed at Aker Finnyards in Turku, Finland and had her maiden voyage in 2003. Currently the ship sails alternating 13 and 14 night round-trip cruises from Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy throughout the Mediterranean to ports in Italy, Greece, Turkey and Israel. She is currently captained by Flemming Nielsen. After the summer season, she will head to Port of Galveston, Texas for the winter. She is due for dry dock in April 2012, returning to the Mediterranean thereafter. The ship has a diesel-electric powertrain using three Azipod azimuth thrusters. Each propeller is driven by a double wound 3-phase synchronous motor with 4-bladed bronze propellers of azipod type. The motors are mounted outside the hull directly on the propeller shaft inside the pod. The three propellers are arranged so that the center propeller is a pushing on–azimuthing Fixipod-type and the two wing ones are of pulling-azimuthing–type steering propellers. MSC Fantasia is a Fantasia class cruise ship owned and operated by MSC Cruises. She entered service in December 2008. She is the largest ship operated by MSC Cruises to date, along with her sister ship MSC Splendida. as well as the largest passenger ship ever constructed for a European shipowner. MSC Fantasia was delivered to MSC Cruises on December 11, 2008. She was officially named on December 18, 2008, in Naples by Sophia Loren, and started on her maiden voyage on the same date. Since her first cruise, this vessel has been the flagship of the company. On March 5, 2009, high winds snapped the forward mooring lines of MSC Fantasia while she was docked in Spain. MSC Fantasia (Wallpaper 1). MSC Fantasia Aircraft carrier images wallpaper gallery 1. MSC Fantasia Aircraft carrier photos and pictures wallpaper collection 1. The bow drifted away from the dock side and caused a passenger gangway to collapse into the water. One passenger and three crew members had to be rescued from the sea. One passenger was taken to hospital with head injuries, while the other three were treated for hypothermia. MSC Fantasia is one of the most beautiful mainstream ships we've cruised on in the last few years. It is a good choice for budget-minded European cruisers, as well as North Americans who want to bring the international experience of a Mediterranean itinerary onboard. It's important to remember that if you're an English-speaker who chooses an MSC cruise in the Mediterranean, odds are that you'll be in the minority. For us, the multinational flavor was half the fun, and our informal Cruise Critic get-together -- which consisted of two passengers from Germany, two from Bosnia, one from Finland and one American -- really epitomized what made our cruise on Fantasia a special experience. Navigator of the Seas Cruise Ship Wallpaper 1

Navigator of the Seas (Wallpaper 1). Navigator of the Seas Cruise Ship images wallpaper gallery 1. Navigator of the Seas Cruise Ship photos and pictures wallpaper collection 1. MS Navigator of the Seas is fourth out of Royal Caribbean International's five Voyager-class cruise ships. She was once one of the largest in the fleet and still ranks among the largest passenger ships in the world. Constructed at Aker Finnyards in Turku, Finland, the ship measures 138,279 gross tons and can carry 3,114 passengers, plus crew. Her length is 1,020 feet and with a beam of 157.5 feet. As of April 2007, she began departing exclusively from Southampton, UK, on cruises throughout Europe and the Mediterranean. Currently, the Navigator spends winters sailing four and five night cruises from Florida, and spends the summers sailing from Civitavecchia, Italy to the Eastern Mediterranean. Of further note is that Navigator is the first of the second generation of Voyager-class vessels. She is noted different from her sisters by the set up of the rear buffet (Windjammer) which extends further aft, and also includes "Jade", an Asian fusion buffet. She is also more obviously different in that she has glass balconies which all the 1st generation sisters lack. She is truly identical only to the Mariner of the Seas, which shares her same design changes. Navigator of the Seas (Wallpaper 1). Navigator of the Seas Cruise Ship images wallpaper gallery 1. Navigator of the Seas Cruise Ship photos and pictures wallpaper collection 1. Organisation when boarding was excellent and quick, as we'd done the internet registering thing. The ship was 'open for business' immediately, with food available in the Windjammer restaurant and coffee in the coffee shop... along with some sugar free cookies for diabetic me. I loved the ship especially the fantastic amount of modern art and architectural features, and the cabins were comfortable. We found the access to our account via the TV useful. We ate in the Windjammer at lunch time, and got into the habit of eating early and missing breakfast (although we did have breakfast from room service a couple of times and the food and service were good). This meant plenty of space, as it obviously got a lot busier later. Another good alternative at lunch time (or evening) was Johnny Rockets, the burger place. These were really tasty quality burgers and the individual juke boxes and staff ' performances' made for a lively meal. There was a $4 cover charge in here. The main restaurant meals were also surprisingly good and not cold as mentioned in other reports. Our service from Wilson and Gemma was top and yet again my sugar free items were a real treat. We took advantage of the other speciality restaurants too at a charge of $20 per head. The food in Portofino and Chops grill was fab, the service amazing and the extras easily worth the extra tenner. We went twice to both. Our cruise before this was on P&O's Arcadia, which was lovely, but we decided that this food beat that considering it was a cheaper cruise. Navigator of the Seas (Wallpaper 1). MS Liberty of the Seas is a Royal Caribbean International cruise ship of the Freedom class which entered regular service in May 2007. It was initially announced that she would be called Endeavour of the Seas, however this name was later changed[3]. The 15-deck ship accommodates 3,634 passengers served by 1,360 crew. She was built in 18 months at the Aker Finnyards drydock in Turku, Finland, where her sister ship, Freedom of the Seas, was also built. At gross tonnage (GT) of 154,407 tons, she joined her sister ship, Freedom of the Seas, as the largest cruise ships and passenger vessels then ever built. She is 1,111.9 ft (338.91 m) long, 184 ft (56.08 m) wide, and cruises at 21.6-knot (40 km/h; 25 mph). On April 19, 2007, she was delivered to parent company Royal Caribbean. On April 22, 2007 she made her first port of call Southampton, on a promotional visit.[5] She arrived at Cape Liberty Cruise Port on May 3, 2007. Liberty of the Seas is the second of the Freedom Class vessels. Liberty of the Seas (Wallpaper 1). Liberty of the Seas Cruise Ship images wallpaper gallery 1. Liberty of the Seas Cruise Ship photos and pictures wallpaper collection 1. A third ship, Independence of the Seas, was delivered in April 2008. In 2009, the first in a new Oasis Class of ships measuring 220,000 gross tons displaced the Freedom class as the world's largest passenger ships. In 2011, Liberty of the Seas underwent renovations in drydock the week of January 23, 2011 to include features introduced on Oasis class ships that have proven to be popular. One of the many features included in this renovation was the inclusion of the DreamWorks Experience. In 2011 Liberty of the seas will make her maiden Europe season from Barcelona to Palma de Mallorca.Liberty of the Seas features extensive sports facilities including the FlowRider onboard wave generator for surfing, an interactive "H20 Zone" water play area for children, a full-sized volleyball / basketball court, an ice skating rink, a boxing ring, and a large fitness center. Other amenities include two whirlpools that are cantilevered and project out from the sides of the ship to provide unimpeded views of the sea below, Wi-Fi and cell phone connectivity throughout most of the ship, a modular conference center for business meetings, and flat screen televisions in only some of the rooms. Restaurants include a three level formal dining room, Jade Cafe Asian themed casual dining, Windjammer Cafe traditional casual dining, Sorrento's Pizzeria, Promenade Cafe, Ben & Jerry's Ice cream shop, Johnny Rockets diner, Chops Steakhouse, and Portofino Italian restaurant. MS Independence of the Seas is a Freedom-class cruise ship operated by the Royal Caribbean cruise line that entered service in April 2008. The 15-deck ship can accommodate 4,370 passengers served by 1,360 crew. She was built in the Aker Finnyards drydock in Turku, Finland, builder of Freedom of the Seas and Liberty of the Seas, her sister ships of the Freedom class. At 154,407 gross tons,[4] she joined Freedom of the Seas and Liberty of the Seas as the largest cruise ships and passenger vessels ever built (at the time of construction). She is 1,112 feet (339 m) long, and typically cruises at 21.6 knots (40.0 km/h; 24.9 mph). The vessel operates from Southampton, England,[2] all year round on European itineraries starting April 2010. Independence of the Seas is the third of the Freedom-class vessel. In October 2009, Oasis of the Seas, the first ship in the Oasis-class displaced the Freedom-class as the world's largest passenger ships. Independence of the Seas (Wallpaper 1). Since the ship's launch she sailed from Southampton, England in the Summer months and from Fort Lauderdale in the Winter months. From 2010 Independence of the Seas will sail from Southampton, England all year round.Like the other Freedom-class vessels, Independence of the Seas features an interactive water park, the H2O Zone, a dedicated sports pool for volleyball and basketball, and whirlpools which extend from the ship's sides. It houses an internal shopping 'street', the Promenade lined with shops, pubs and wine bars, with a "bridge" which can be lowered from the ceiling void to provide a performance space above the crowds. There is also the three story Alhambra theatre, seating 1,200, and a complete conference centre. The show cabaret lounge is based on an ancient Egyptian theme, known as the Pyramid Lounge. On a lower level is an ice skating rink named Studio B, home to a series of professional ice shows, and is also available for personal skating. This facility was first featured on the Voyager-class and the rink on Independence of the Seas is the eighth to feature this on a ship. The ship also features a range of eating outlets, a rock climbing wall, wi-Fi and mobile phone connectivity throughout, and flat screen televisions in all staterooms. Independence of the Seas is also the first Royal Caribbean ship to feature heated, fresh water pools. On the Sports Deck, there is a rock climbing wall, a basketball/hockey court, a mini golf course, and a FlowRider for surfing. It also has 2 seating areas around the FlowRider to allow people to watch. Independence of the Seas (Wallpaper 1). Independence of the Seas cruise ship images wallpaper gallery 1. Norwegian Epic (wallpaper 1). Norwegian Epic cruise ship images wallpaper gallery 1. Norwegian Epic cruise ship photos, pictures and images collection 1. Norwegian Epic, also known under the project name F3, is the third largest cruise ship in the world, owned by the Norwegian Cruise Line and built by STX Europe (previously Aker Yards) Chantiers de l'Atlantique shipyard in Saint-Nazaire, France. Two ships in this class were ordered by NCL in November 2006, with an option for a third vessel that was not exercised. A dispute between NCL and STX initially resulted in the construction of both ships being placed on hold until a new agreement was reached in which the first ship will be completed and the construction of the second ship was cancelled. Delivery of the sole remaining ship was scheduled for June 2010. Norwegian Epic was delivered to NCL on June 17, 2010. She set sail on her Maiden Voyage on Thursday June 24, 2010 from Southampton to New York and arrived on July 1. Norwegian Epic (wallpaper 1). Norwegian Epic cruise ship images wallpaper gallery 1. Norwegian Epic cruise ship photos, pictures and images collection 1. This is the largest cruise ship to ever dock in New York Passenger Ship Terminal. The Norwegian Epic surpasses the Jewel-class as NCL's largest vessel by almost 60,000-GT. Norwegian Epic represents the "third generation" of Freestyle cruising vessels and its size allows NCL to have a ship that is in the "mega-class" of their competitors at Royal Caribbean International and Carnival Cruise Lines, though still 32% smaller by gross tonnage than Royal Caribbean's Oasis of the Seas and Allure of the Seas, the world's largest and longest passenger vessels. The ship has 4100 passenger berths, with 100% of outside cabins having balconies. NCL had stated that this ship would have 60% more passenger space than their then largest ships. Norwegian Epic has the only tube and bowl water slide at sea in its Aqua park. It also has a rappelling wall, as well as two three-lane bowling alleys. It also has a 17-degree ice bar. The F3-class ship was built by STX Europe at the Chantiers de l'Atlantique shipyard in Saint-Nazaire, France. The last ships delivered to NCL that was not at least partially built at a German shipyard was the Windward of 1993. Since that date and until this order, NCL's newbuildings have been built at the German Meyer Werft, Lloyd Werft, Bremer Vulkan and Aker MTW shipyards. Norwegian Epic (wallpaper 1). Queen Mary 2 Cruise Ship Wallpaper 1

Queen Mary 2 (wallpaper 1). Queen Mary 2 ship images wallpaper gallery 1. Queen Mary 2 ship photos, pictures and images collection 1. RMS Queen Mary 2 is a transatlantic ocean liner. She was the first major ocean liner built since Queen Elizabeth 2 in 1969, the vessel she succeeded as flagship of the Cunard Line. The ship was named by Queen Elizabeth II in 2004 after the first RMS Queen Mary, completed in 1936. Queen Mary was in turn named after Mary of Teck, consort of King George V. With the retirement of Queen Elizabeth 2 from active duty in 2008, Queen Mary 2 is currently the only transatlantic ocean liner in operation as a liner, although the ship is often used for cruising, including an annual world cruise. At the time of her construction in 2003 by Chantiers de l'Atlantique, Queen Mary 2 was the longest, widest and tallest passenger ship ever built, and with her gross tonnage (GT) of 151,400 tons, was also the largest. She no longer holds this distinction after the construction of Royal Caribbean International's 154,407 GT Freedom of the Seas in April 2006, which was in turn superseded by the same company's 225,282 GT Oasis of the Seas in October 2009. Queen Mary 2 (wallpaper 1). Queen Mary 2 ship images wallpaper gallery 1. Queen Mary 2 ship photos, pictures and images collection 1. However, Queen Mary 2 remains the largest ocean liner (as opposed to cruise ship) ever built. Queen Mary 2 was intended primarily to cross the Atlantic Ocean, and was therefore designed differently from many other passenger ships. The ship's final cost was approximately $300,000 US per berth, nearly double that of many contemporary cruise ships. This was due to the size of the ship, the high quality of materials, and that, having been designed as an ocean liner, she required 40% more steel than a standard cruise ship. She has a maximum speed of 29.62 knots (54.86 km/h; 34.09 mph) and a cruising speed of 26 knots (48 km/h; 30 mph), much faster than contemporary cruise ships, such as Oasis of the Seas, which has a cruising speed of 22.6 knots (41.9 km/h; 26.0 mph). Instead of the diesel-electric configuration found on many ships, Queen Mary 2 uses a CODLAG configuration (Combined diesel-electric and gas) in order to achieve her maximum speed. This uses additional gas turbines to augment the power given by the diesel generators onboard, and allow the ship to reach a higher maximum speed. Queen Mary 2's facilities include fifteen restaurants and bars, five swimming pools, a casino, a ballroom, a theatre, and the first planetarium at sea. There are also kennels onboard, as well as a nursery. Queen Mary 2 is one of the few ships afloat today to have remnants of a class system onboard, most prominently seen in her dining options. Freedom of the Seas (wallpaper 1). Freedom of the Seas ship images wallpaper gallery 1. Freedom of the Seas ship photos, pictures and images collection 1. MS Freedom of the Seas is a cruise ship owned and operated by Royal Caribbean International. It is the namesake of Royal Caribbean's Freedom Class cruise ships, and can accommodate 3,634 passengers and 1,300 crew on fifteen passenger decks. Freedom of the Seas was the largest passenger ship ever built (by gross tonnage) from 2006 until construction of the Oasis Class ships in late 2009, also owned by Royal Caribbean International. The Freedom of the Seas was built at the Aker Yards drydock in Turku, Finland, which also is building the other ships of the Freedom Class. Upon its completion, it became the largest passenger ship ever built, taking that honor from Cunard's RMS Queen Mary 2. Freedom of the Seas is 2.4 metres (7 ft 10 in) narrower than QM2 at the waterline, 6 metres (20 ft) shorter, has 1.5 metres (4 ft 11 in) less draft, is 8.3 metres (27 ft) less tall and 10 miles per hour (16 km/h) slower. Freedom of the Seas ship (wallpaper 1). Freedom of the Seas ship images wallpaper gallery 1. Freedom of the Seas ship photos, pictures and images collection 1. Freedom however is the larger ship in terms of gross tonnage. While its gross tonnage was estimated to range from 154,000 GT to 160,000 GT, its official rating by Det Norske Veritas, a Norwegian marine classification society, is 154,407 GT, compared with QM2's 151,400 GT. Freedom of the Seas had the highest gross tonnage of any passenger ship yet built, until the 2009 completion of the MS Oasis of the seas. Although they are no longer the world's largest cruise ships, the Freedom-class vessels live up to Royal Caribbean's reputation for creative thinking that results in features to stir the imagination and provide a resortlike atmosphere at sea. Whether you are hanging 10 in the surf simulator, going a few rounds in the boxing ring, or strolling the Royal Promenade entertainment boulevard, there's almost no reason to go ashore. The layout is more intuitive than you might expect on such a gigantic ship. Freedom-class vessels have a familiar mall-like promenade lined with shops and bistros, an ice-skating rink/theater, numerous lounges, and dining options, but are not simply enlarged Voyager-class ships. With plenty of room, even the most intimate spaces feel uncrowded. A good fit for extended families, these ships have expansive areas devoted to children and teens and enough adults-only spaces to satisfy everyone. Freedom of the Seas ship (wallpaper 1). Oasis of the Seas Cruise Ship Wallpaper 1

Oasis of the Seas (wallpaper 1). Oasis of the Seas ship images wallpaper gallery 1. Oasis of the Seas ship pictures and images collection 1. MS Oasis of the Seas is an Oasis-class cruise ship in the fleet of Royal Caribbean International. The first of her class, she was joined by her sister ship Allure of the Seas in December 2010. Both vessels cruise the Caribbean from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She set a new record of carrying over 6,000 passengers. The ship surpasses the Freedom-class cruise ships (also owned by Royal Caribbean) as the world's largest passenger ships. The vessel was ordered in February 2006 and designed under the name "Project Genesis". Her keel was laid down on 12 November 2007 at STX Europe (formerly Aker Yards) in Turku, Finland. The company announced that full funding for Oasis of the Seas was secured on 15 April 2009. The name Oasis of the Seas resulted from a competition held in May 2008. During the first float-out of the vessel the tugboats that were pulling the ship from its dock failed to control the ship due to its great size, resulting in the port side of the ship colliding with the dock. This resulted in some cosmetic damage and minor damage to the hull, which was repaired and did not affect the final delivery date of the vessel. Oasis of the Seas (wallpaper 1). Oasis of the Seas ship images wallpaper gallery 1. Oasis of the Seas ship pictures and images collection 1. The ship was completed and turned over to Royal Caribbean on 28 October 2009. Two days later, she departed Finland for the United States. While exiting the Baltic Sea, the vessel passed underneath the Great Belt Fixed Link in Denmark on 1 November 2009. The bridge has a clearance of 65 m (213 ft) above the water; Oasis normally has an air draft of 72 m (236 ft). The passage under the bridge was possible due to retraction of the telescoping funnels, and an additional 30 cm (12 in) was gained by the squat effect whereby vessels traveling at speed in a shallow channel will be drawn deeper into the water. Approaching the bridge at 20 knots (37 km/h; 23 mph), the ship passed under it with less than 2 feet (60 cm) of clearance. Proceeding through the English Channel, Oasis stopped briefly in the Solent so that 300 shipyard workers who were onboard doing finishing work could disembark, then left on the way to her intended home port of Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The ship arrived there on 13 November 2009, where tropical plants were installed prior to some introductory trips and her maiden voyage on 5 December 2009. While Royal Caribbean's chief of captains William S. Wright was in command of the ship's journey across the Atlantic and also for the first few sailings, navigation of the Oasis of the Seas is regularly handled by Trym Selvag and Thore Thorolvsen. The ship was featured in an episode of the second season of Mighty Ships, a production of Discovery Channel Canada which aired during the summer of 2010. Oasis of the Seas (wallpaper 1). MY Eclipse (wallpaper 1). MY Eclipse ship images wallpaper gallery 1. MY Eclipse ship pictures and images collection 1. M/Y Eclipse is a luxury motor yacht constructed by Blohm + Voss in Hamburg, Germany. Its exterior and interior are designed by Terence Disdale Design and its naval architect is Francis design. The yacht is owned by Roman Abramovich, and is 163.5 m (536 ft) long, and it was delivered to Abramovich on 9 December 2010. This made Eclipse the world's largest private yacht, 0.5 metres (1 ft 8 in) longer than the world's biggest yacht Dubai, which belongs to Sheikh Mohammed, the ruler of Dubai. The yacht's initial cost was estimated at € 340 million (circa $485 million US), but a September 2009 report indicated that final costs could approach € 800 million ($1.2 billion US). Eclipse has two helicopter pads, 24 guest cabins, two swimming pools, several hot tubs and a disco hall. It also comes equipped with three launch boats, and a mini-submarine that is capable of submerging to 50 metres. MY Eclipse (wallpaper 1). MY Eclipse ship images wallpaper gallery 1. MY Eclipse ship pictures and images collection 1. Approximately 70 crew members are needed to operate the yacht. For security, Eclipse is fitted with intruder detection systems and a German-built missile defence system. The windows in Abramovich's master suite and the yacht's bridge are also fitted with bullet-proof glass and both are armour plated. The yacht is also reportedly equipped with an anti-paparazzi shield in the form of lasers that sweep the surroundings, and when they detect a CCD, they shine a light right at the camera to prevent the photograph. According to The Times, these don’t run all the time, so friends and guests should still be able to take pictures. Instead, they will be activated when guards spot likely professional photographers nearby. How such a device would actually function is unclear, and there is no evidence that this device even exists beyond rumours. Eclipse was launched on 12 June 2009. It arrived in Frederikshavn, Denmark on September 18, 2009 for tests, and finally delivered to Abramovich on December 9, 2010. First pictures of the completed yacht were taken at Kristiansand, Norway during its refueling. In February 2011 Eclipse was made available for charter through SuperYachtsMonaco, a yacht brokerage company with the headoffice in Monaco. Abramovich's private fleet consists of four motor yachts: Eclipse; Pelorus; Sussurro, and Luna. He gave his previously-owned Le Grand Bleu to his associate and friend Eugene Shvidler in June 2006. He also sold Ecstasea, in June 2009, to an unknown Egyptian. MY Eclipse (wallpaper 1). MY Eclipse ship images wallpaper gallery 1. MY Eclipse ship pictures and images collection 1.

Allure of the Seas Ship Wallpaper 1

Allure of the Seas (wallpaper 1)
Allure of the Seas ship images wallpaper gallery 1. Allure of the Seas ship pictures and images collection 1.
MS Allure of the Seas is a cruise ship, sister ship to the MS Oasis of the Seas, which hold the distinction of being the world's largest passenger vessels, although it was recently determined that—through an anomaly discovered by design engineers—Allure of the Seas is actually two inches longer than her sister ship, which technically makes Allure the largest passenger ship ever constructed, despite the fact that both ships have identical superstructures. Designed under the name "Project Genesis", she was ordered in February 2006 and construction officially began at STX Europe in Turku, Finland, in February 2008. She was named in May 2008 after a contest was held to name her and her sister. The keel of the Allure of the Seas was laid on 2 December 2008. She left the Turku shipyard on 29 October 2010, at 05:45 UTC, heading directly to her future home port of Port Everglades, near Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA. The ship is equipped with telescoping funnels to pass under bridges such as the Storebaelt Bridge, which she passed on 30 October 2010. While media has reported that there was only 30 centimetres (12 in) of clearance, the truth is that at the mean water level it was closer to 2–3 metres (6.6–9.8 ft) and the much-advertised squat effect, Allure of the Seas (wallpaper 1). Allure of the Seas ship images wallpaper gallery 1. Allure of the Seas ship pictures and images collection 1. whereby vessels traveling at speed in a shallow channel will be drawn deeper into the water, did not have significant effect on the draft of the vessel. On 11 November 2010, at approximately 9:30 a.m. EST, Allure of the Seas arrived at her home port of Port Everglades, Florida. She was greeted by thousands of fans waiting on the shore. The ship was formally named by her godmother Princess Fiona on 28 November 2010. Allure of the Seas features many firsts for a cruise ship, including the first seagoing Starbucks Coffee stand, the first Britto Store at Sea, and the first time passengers may enjoy entertainment and events with DreamWorks characters. While the length of the Allure of the Seas is the same as that of her sister, 360 metres (1,181 ft), she is actually some 50 millimetres (2 in) longer than the Oasis of the Seas. However, according to the shipyard this is not intentional and such small differences in length may occur simply due to the temperature of the steel in a ship as big as this. The gross tonnage of the Allure is 225,282 and her displacement — the actual weight of the ship — is equal to that of the Oasis, which is estimated to be around 100,000 tons, about the same as that of an American Nimitz-class aircraft carrier. Her steel hull alone weighs roughly 54,000 tons. Allure of the Seas (wallpaper 1). Allure of the Seas ship images wallpaper gallery 1. Allure of the Seas ship pictures and images collection 1.
